Wargame: European Escalation

Just picked up this new strategy title from Eugen, they guy's who made R.U.S.E. . One of the most unique tactical titles I have ever played, also one of the most addicting. No resource (other then supplies) management, 361 units, 8 factions on 2 sides and custom decks built for multiplayer

I am anxious to see the strategic worth of some of you outfit leaders out there, especially the ones who 'wrote' the book on tactics. Anyone fancy a game?

I was thinking of picking this up. was not sure it was worth it. Ill look into it more now

I was excited about this, but I'm curious.. with that many units, are they all substantively different, or just re-skins within the same class?

The big differences are in the factions. Each set of allies uses historically accurate weapon systems so some nations share equipment. Despite the large number of units i have been satisfied by the different feel with each. As far as skins are concerned all the models are very pretty,

This game is wrong! Storyline says it wasn't Russia that attacked the US! The war was caused by an accident? Is that even possible?

Actually I was quite surprised to see I haven't been made an evil almost-terrorist again. Though one thing seems strange - loads of units, yet they all seem rather similar.

EDIT: Also they huff me with absence of BMD's. BMD is a remade, smaller version of BMP designed to be paradroped without a platform, used exclusively by Russian Airborne Military Units and Air Assault Military Units.
