That's the first thing I thought when I saw that page. If they wanted it to be fair, they should post some Microsoft Excel EVE Online spreadsheet page from 2005 on the left, opposite the Planetside 1 Terran soldier.

The games in the end share very little with each other.

DUST being PS3 exclusive, small arena-like matches, etc.. Sure, both are scifi'ish online shooters, but thats about it. 32v32? Wow, really impressive

That's not MMOFPS, get on Planetsides level! I mean, I do find it funny that it's 9 years since Planetside released and just about the only people who have even attempted at creating something alike is SOE itself

Also, why did they use a picture from Planetside 1 against DUST? Smells biased.

EDIT: I may have come off a bit harsh towards DUST, I dont have anything against the game per se, more about it having nothing on Planetside 2 cos it's a whole different kind of game from a different genre, really. I enjoy BF3 and it's a 32v32 with vehicles, so I dont mean DUST cant be enjoyable, just pissed off at Massively for this stupid as fuck poll that was clearly made biased towards DUST.

I mean, how do these people get paid to do this and still not have a fucking clue?

they are being compared because they both have persistence gameplay, what you do on Dust will effect what happens on EVE.

but for me i just think Dust is a lame advertising gimmick to convert console players to play EVE. Because if they where serious about dust they would release the PC version the same time as the Ps3.
