Back doors to bases?

http://www.gamerspulse.com/modules/S...de/image21.jpg

Check it out. The map clearly shows the guy looking -away- from what looks to be a base, yet there's an entrance in front of him that leads underground.

Am I missing something obvious, or might that be an alternate entrance/exit to the base?

yeah, I saw that shot, they said that there are extensive underground passages, in the dev interview. So this is probably an entrance to one of those underground passages.

Well now, thats interesting. A entrance to a base that might not even be visible from the walls. That adds whole new layers to offense/defense strats. <ponders> yea this game will own me too.

.... Hurtya, you have -no- imagination.

The bases -are- partially underground. Since that leads underground, you think that -maybe- it might connect to the... . oh... must I say it.... nearby base? (Duhhhhhhh.... )

I can't see any other reason for it being there (except for the possible underground tunnels that connect all bases, that some of you people seem to think are in the game, which I HIGHLY doubt).
