Some of my teammates in BWC are assisting me with the production of a 10-minute indie short that we're going to be shopping around at various film festivals. Easiest way to describe the movie is Ghostbusters meets the A-Team meets Mad Max meets Night of the Living Dead.

We have a Youtube channel up and running:
http://www.youtube.com/user/ZComMovie I've posted some teaser-trailers. We shot footage this past weekend and will be doing a few "Meet The..." TF2-spoofs for a few characters. |

I'm looking for unsigned or non-contractual musicians, for the purpose of creating original compositions. I figured I would start at Planetside Universe since there are more than a few talented individuals. Compositions may be any genre, however there is a catch.
The movie is a post-nuclear/post-apocalyptic setting. There is no electricity. Modern conveniences such as cellphones, digital objects, electronics, internet, television, all that shit... gone. Scrap. Relics. So the music needs to reflect this, it needs to match the environment. To that end, think "unplugged". I don't care if it mimics "Barton Hollow" by the Civil Wars or if it mimics Nirvana Unplugged. Hell, you could be a rapper for all I care, as long as your composition doesn't contain a bunch of electronic stuff. Now obviously, people with a fair amount of talent (or better) can get on FruityLoops and bang out some piano music - that's electronic. But it doesn't sound like it. Interested? Post here, or contact me via PM (preferred method, since PMs end up sending me an email notification and I've curtailed my forum-whoring). |
