I mean they DO have the capability to add in bots, and the whole purpose of it is to show off the massiveness.
What if, alongside the 100+ SOE employees, they add in say another 100 bots? Just to show off the scale? I doubt the reviewers will say "Bots were at points glitchy and also very easy to beat, bad game!" because I'm sure Higby will beat into them before they play that it'll be a 100% PvP game, and obviously it's an alpha build. |

I think when they mean bots they mean static characters that can "be in the world" taking up server assets and taxing the engine like a real player but not bots with AI that can fight. It would look horrible for testers and onlookers to see tons of Bot characters standing around whats the point?

I never found bots in online playing to be a wise decission...
For E3 they really should try to get as many SOE employees into the game as possible. So that Higby can boldly say "Everyone you see here is a player" and everyone goes like
