Looking for outfit (any faction) - PS2 Beta and beyond

Edit: It turns out that my friends lean a little bit towards the Vanu, so I'll be applying to join the Ghosts of the Revolution (GOTR). Thank you RedKnights for replying to this thread. GOTR is an outfit with a long and successful history. I greatly look forward to playing with them, and maybe my friends can come join us as well when they get into the beta.

I was fortunate enough to receive a beta key this morning, so the next step is to find a good outfit. I'm 25, married, and I work at a tech company here in Washington State. I'm looking to join similar folks for some sharp game play.

I'm a great pilot in Battlefield 3, Arma II, DayZ, BF: 2142. I hope that translates over to PS2. However, I'll play whatever role you want. Medic, Engie, etc... I played a lot of TF2, and even played at a couple of tournaments. I usually join a group for any team based games that I play, and PS2 is no exception. So far none of my friends have keys yet, so that's why I'm looking here.

Hey Luie,

I'm with Ghosts of the Revolution we're an East Coast Planetside 1 outfit, still active, and we'll have an incredibly strong presence in Planetside 2. But these days we have members all over the world.

Our community these days is older and mature mostly people in their Early 20's and 30's. We run organized ops on various days of the week, and we're always willing to train people at the game.

These days we have a lot of people that play ARMA, TF2 and LoL as well, so we're not bored.

We also have a dedicated minecraft server if you're into that.

Otherwise, we're very dedicated to Planetside, we still have a stong precense so if you're interested shoot me, or robocpf1 on these forums a PM.

A little history of The X

The deadly gaming organization now known as Outfit X (X), was formed in 1999. Originally started playing the FPS known as Starsiege:Tribes where we competed in ladder style tournaments. Over the years, the X has left a mark in many online team based games and have struck fear in the hearts of many gamers. Some of the games that the X has competed in are:

* Starsiege:Tribes (Group tag !X!)

* Tribes 2 (Group tag !X!)

* Tribes: Vengeance (Group tag !X!)

* Planetside(Outfit name: Squad X)

* World of Warcraft(Group tag: X)

* Heroes of Newerth (Group tag: X)

* Call of Duty (Multiple Chapters) (Group tag: X)

* Battlefield(Multiple Chapters) (Group tag: X)

* And many more…

When Planetside was released in 2003, the X once again was able to show the power of teamwork and showed the Planetside community how deadly Squad X could really be. In Planetside, Squad X , who were dedicated warriors of the New Conglomerate(a faction in Planetside)was known as one of the most organized well respected outfits to ever play the game. By the end of 2004, Squad X had a roster of over 200+ members that would play 24 hours a day, with ferocious X team leaders and X members from across the globe who were executing a variety of missions from organizing armor/air columns to special operations. After many dedicated years to Planetside, the X has been waiting for a sequel to Planetside, and now, in 2012 it is here. Planetside 2. Fully dedicated to the Harvest Gold and Navy Blue of the New Conglomerate, we are ready to deploy once again.

Recruitment Requirements and X Law

In order to join Outfit X, we do require a few things from our new and seasoned people.

1. There is no age limit but there is a maturity level minimum. We ask that all of our members act respectful to each other both on the field and in voice chat.

2. Voice communication is REQUIRED. If you do not have a MIC you cannot join. Current members must have a working MIC and Voice Chat compatible sound card.

3. Stay in communication: Join and use the X forums, as well as the Facebook page if capable. And follow X Twitter, we may use these channels to announce important events.

4. Respect the chain of command.

5. Respect fellow players and.

6. Always watch X members backs.

7. Participate in all Outfit X missions.

8. Last but not least, have fun.

If you think you meet these requirements, register on our forums and post in the “Recruitment” section. Tell us a little about yourself. Please allow 24hours for a response. We will contact you shortly(in our out of game).

Hey Luieburger,

Toxin Raiders is a organized outfit that is a 18+ community.Our outfit is mostly made up of American's and Canadians but we also have a few brit's that try to teach us proper english.We are suited for hardcore and casual gamers alike and do not have strict policies like "if your not here at this time you dont play!" but that does not mean we aren't trying to win all the time. And if you can talk your friends into play we will be more then happy to take them in aswell. Best of luck with your outfit search. If you find nothing better above, which would be unlikely because some fine outfits up there (especially Toxin) then have a look at the Sentinels. We have cookies.

PURPLE IS THE WAY TO GO!!

We are very team and organization focused however we are not super serious all the time. If you are looking for something a little less serious the above ideas are good outfits.
