"Advertising experience" lol.
It goes without saying that this will never happen in a game from a company that is not a joke, and if it happens it will be burnt down. Also combat arms is one of the scummiest f2p i've ever seen. Last edited by Algo; 2012-06-10 at 11:01 AM. |

Does anyone remember those highly immersive billboards from PS? Like when you were fighting a battle with Hovercraft Vehicles and Laser Weaponry, and than you take a note of that billboard "introducing Yaris and Yaris". *sigh*

The only issue I really have with this types of advertising is that in general, there are so few messages that they tend to get repetitive quite fast.
Normally I just sort of "switch off" my attention when the ads come about on TV and your run of the mill Radio station, but the repetitiveness in the web app ads become intrusive and I just get annoyed. But yeah, as long as the micro transactions keep the game afloat, I don't think we need to worry about it in PS2. |
