I liked that article, it made me think of something.

Since we are going to war for moral/security reasons, and when we get Saddam it will be an American administration controlling Iraq...

Why won't we guarentee France, Germany, and Russia the same deals they have with Saddam?

If we are trying to do the right thing for the Iraqi people and for sucurity for the rest of the world, why are we unwilling to guarentee France, Russia, and Germany similar deals to what they have now.

Because it is the french, germans and russians that has material interests in iraq ( read oil contracts and oil hardware).

The irony is that they are the contries thats interested in iraq for its oil, not the US but they (french/german) are the ones using oil as a reason for why the US wants to invade iraq.

The United States cannot give what it does not own. The Iraqi people will decide where those contracts go. Not the US; not Saddam.
