ok in this pic it shows a little half box type thing next to the cursor or wahtever it is what is this. Is it the aiming thing or what it seems to be in a lot of pics.

The person is in an aircraft. That meter thingy shows the altitude.
 *edit: Look closely at the bottom of the HUD. It says Vehicle Armor and Afterburner. It must be an Aircraft.
