i think the armors that can have 2 pistols should be able to use both at the same time. i think that sounds realistic, i mean if ya got it use it rite

I've gotta admit the Hong Kong action guys who introduced dual weilding pistols invented a really cool look. I really enjoyed the dual Beretta 92Elites in CS, mostly for the reload animartion, partially for the ammo capacity.
My one real problem with dual weilding is that IRL it's just a waste of ammo. I've tried it at the range. You simply cannot hit anything. You can increase your accuracy by doing it wester style (ie. Wyatt Erp) buy firing one pistol and holding the other at the ready. Ofcourse, you have to train yourself for off hand firing. I'd say the devs should go for it if they introduced another less powerful pistol and a specialized cert for it. If you could get dual AMPs, why would a grunt ever get just 1 amp? (not taking into account medics, engineers and REKs) |

I don't like this idea, and it's not because I wouldn't want to dual wield pistols. To be perfectly honest, occupying both pistol slots with pistols instead of a pistol (or no pistols) and some tools like an REK or a grenade for quick throwing is a pretty bad tradeoff. You don't have inventory space coming out every orfice, so you need to compromise. And I guarentee you that most serious players would not bother with two pistols when they could have a pistol in one slot and a plasma grenade in the other slot.

DUAL! DUAL! its spelled DUAL!
sorry, i'm kinda spastic over this. However, i think dual wielding would only be worthwhile with a terran repeater or vanu beamer. they are the only reasonably accurate pistols at any range greater than a few feet, so it wouldn't miss as often. dual wielded mag-scatters would rock at close range though... - Sando the Perfectionist. Ive tried dual pistols and dual mini uzis(with silencers) at a range once, if you fire as fast as you can with the pistols you will still hit the target, sometimes. With the uzis you tend to hit better(the silencer dampens the recoil significantly +it makes them front heavy) apart from the uzis normal spread.

Not if it doesn't have 2 pistol slots...which, as of the last information I got on it, it doesn't.
And good god, it's not called dual wielding when you're talking about guns. It's called akimbo style or gangsta style. You don't "wield" firearms, unless you're in the NRA. Edit: Omfg. I started a sentence with the word "and." ::hates himself::
