Guys,

multiple threads had to be closed since the tech test started and I think those threads should have been closed earlier.

What do I mean?

There are lots of us with access to tech test, some without it. Those not in the test feel cheated, other make jokes of the "vets" crying like a baby.

Seriously, stop it! Standards on the forums dropped drastically, no more debates just trolling and flames. Pointless argueing instead of arguments! Newcomers are told to "do a frickin' forum search" instead of helping him...

Call it elitism, but the community built around PS and PSU was way more mature than this.

I ask everyone no matter how long he has been playing PS or posting on these boards, no matter if playing the tech test or still waiting for the invite, no matter of age, gender or faction preferency... SHOW some RESPECT!

I agree, everyone needs to tone it down. When we are all in beta and all playing this will all be a distant memory that we will completely forget about. Don't worry there are plenty of PlanetSide 1 Players in Tech Test and there are plenty of inexperienced.

They aren't going to ruin your game, one moron who posts a YouTube video with his head firmly up his ass does not indicate that PlanetSide 2 is doomed and that you should have gotten their spot.

Sit back, relax and wait on your invite it will be in your inboxes in good time.

Or maybe he is probably empathizing with someone, somewhere, who needs to do a lot of volunteer work on an obscure internet fansite of a long dead game JUST to maintain a decent level of interaction between users ?

Not everyone cares about being a mod or jerks around plotting his own ascension to admin powers months in advance. Most of us genuinely care about PSU for what it is: a forum where we can get together and discuss (vigorously ) about PS related news with people who share the same interest.

I've never given a single dollar to PSU but it's still around, still free, and still being administered in a successful way.

Thanks to the dedication of Hamma, mods and generous contributions. They are the ones allowing us to post by taxing their own time and wallet.

Thanks to everyone else for the great entertainment and contribution too !

If it was armed then sitting on it would never happen because as soon as you got close..BOOM. Also if you didn't arm it until after you sat on it nothing would happen because of no movement around it. You'd just be sitting there on a hot mine waiting for someone to walk by and get covered in your entrails...which would be pretty funny in a sadistic sort of way.

Not to derail the thread, but yeah the whole tech test/beta stuff has made a lot of people around here very spiteful.
