Today is THE DAY, as the title say, probably today is the day where the beta begins, are you nervous?

I was waiting for Planetside2 1 month ago, and I'm really excited for the beginning of the beta, are you?

I don't expect to be invited in the first wave, of course because I'm not a vet, when you expect to get invited for the beta?

Maybe it will start in one minute, maybe in 45 hours. Maybe you will be in the same wave as vets, maybe not.

Just wait & see.

I am on these forums at 3 AM getting all giddy like school girl because of this darn Beta anticipation. But don't get your hopes up man, they also said Tuesday was a possible Beta start day!

I am hoping next week the latest I get in, I have been trying to get into the new WoW exp beta to keep me busy waiting and during downtime between scheduled plays but that seems to not be working, so may go insane unless I can find something to do.

Trying to avoid investment in something because I have no idea when I'm getting and how much time on the schedule we will get in. If we get huge chunks I'll just waste cash or get distracted by an MMO if I commit.

Even though I'm a veteran, I fully expect not to get in so I'm not so disappointed to the point I want to kill myself.

I'm using Blacklight: Retribution. Not putting a single penny into it, but it's a good tide over for a Free to Play FPS for an hour here and there.

Some other stuff I could recommend, but unfortunately aren't free are the Assassin's Creed and Prince of Persia series. Also Bulletstorm had probably the best dialog I have ever had the benefit of listening to since the 1990's. Then there is Killingfloor. It often goes on sale on Steam for as low as $5, but I bought it for $20 and gotten almost 300 hours of 6 player team 'survival shoot em up' fun out of it.

If you are being honest (very unlikely) then you shouldn't talk about it on any forum. NDA is serious shit. I wouldn't even pretend to have received an invite, for fear of facing SOE wrath :o

i think i remember that the NDA that came with the beta registration already stated that all talking about being in the beta outside of the official forums would be a violation. cannot quote since i deleted this mail. i was sure the actual beta invitation mail will contain another and propably updated NDA
