Well first off, my apologies to Hamma and the rest of the PSU staff for not simply donating my key to the exchange. It is a great program and I know I should be supporting it, however, I've kind of been wanting to do this for my own shits and giggles before I knew there would be an exchange. Plus I'd like to know who my key is going to.

Background - Now to the beef. I bought a PC Gamer (US) a few months ago, but I never entered the Beta Key that was in the magazine. I was holding onto it because I wasn't sure I would need it. Well since I'm currently subscribed to PS1, it turns out 100% for sure that I don't need this key. I've been a huge fan of this site for the past year and a half or so (meaning I'm on here every day), so I always wanted this key to go to a member of this amazing site.

Rules - (Just tell me how to get the freakin key, Raymac)
First, this will be completely biased and likely unfair, so you'll just have to deal with that. Winning the key will be rather simple. Just answer a few basic questions, and I will select the winner based on your answers. There are 4 questions, plus 1 bonus question. All questions must be answered, and all answers must be submitted by Monday 8/6/12 at 2PM PDT. Also, the amount of activity you have on this site including your Join Date and Number of Posts will factor into my decision, although they will not be THE deciding factor.
(1 minor disclaimer. If you are a PS1 vet, don't enter. If you have a key already, don't enter. I'll have no way to verify it, but if you lie to me about those things, I will find out after I'm dead and I will come back and haunt the shit out of you and your ancestors)

I heard it a few months ago from Gamespy.com
Question 3 - What are you most excited about in Planetside 2?
I think I'm most excited for the persistent world aspect of the game.
Question 4 - Why should you get the key over anyone else?
I plan to bug report as well as play, beta is about testing after all and
many players don't participate in the error reporting aspect of a beta.
Bonus Question - What is best in life?
I believe happiness may be best as long as it does not do great harm
another's happiness.

Unsure at the moment. I'm starting to lean towards Terran, but I'm still not sure up to this point. (You can sway me!)
Question 2 - When did you first hear about Planetside 2?
It's hard to say really, probably from a friend online, but I really took notice during the E3 demos.
Question 3 - What are you most excited about in Planetside 2?
Large scale combat, just the sheer scale of everything and the potential for real team play.
Question 4 - Why should you get the key over anyone else?
I have been trying for a good couple of months to get beta keys, and have gotten beat out every time! It's disheartening, but I'm going to continue to try my luck at these contests. I've only recently joined the site, and would really like to get more involved in the community here. Having a chance in beta will let me do that.
Bonus Question - What is best in life?
Adventure and discovery. A sedentary life is a wasted life, in my opinion of course.

Not sure, might go NC but just not sure yet.
Question 2 - When did you first hear about Planetside 2?
Back when it was just whispers. I got really interested in Planetside 1 right after it died...talk about worst timing ever.
Question 3 - What are you most excited about in Planetside 2?
The design philosophy is amazing. Keeping all the spirit of the first one with up to date standards and still being true free-to-play is mind blowing. I can't wait to load up on a transport and drop into a hot zone for the first time...
Question 4 - Why should you get the key over anyone else?
I signed up the day they had the site up. I've been following it soo closely since it was a sure thing that was in the works and have persuaded all my friends that it will be our FPS of choice and will change the name of the game. Oh, and I love being a medic class...just saying.
Bonus Question - What is best in life?
Eclairs...holy hell eclairs.

Back in my PS1 days. I played a year or so around release and came back to have fun with friends from time to time. But, I gave my account to a buddy so, time to start over.
Question 3 - What are you most excited about in Planetside 2?
Hang out with old friends, make some new ones and steer my drop pod through a fully loaded TR Gal.
Question 4 - Why should you get the key over anyone else?
I promote humor, chaos and gratuitous violence.
Bonus Question - What is best in life?
Tea-bagging the filthy TR and NC. It is through this moral duty that you let them know they chose... poorly.

Question 1 - Which Empire will you be fighting for?

New Conglomerate, debated endlessly over it, but just went with my gut instinct. I also factored in the aircraft among other things, as I like to fly, and the Reaver was the coolest (I'm serious, I'm not sucking up).

Question 2 - When did you first hear about Planetside 2?

I read about it earlier this year (maybe a month before school ended) in one of the GameInformer magazines my brothers and I get. I remember reading that it was an "mmofps", a strange combination in my opinion, and that I thought I had heard of the title, or confused it with something similarly titled. I then read that it was suppose to be on an epic scale, and skeptically said to myself "sssuurrreee". It wasn't until E3 that I looked it up again and was immediately wowed.

Question 3 - What are you most excited about in Planetside 2?

I'm most excited about possibly playing a wholly unique game, not only because of the game itself, but because of how close-knit the community and developers are.

Question 4 - Why should you get the key over anyone else?

Well, I'm not a vet who knows everything about Planetside, and I'm not the "Perfect Beta Tester", who knows nothing about the game. However, I am a part of the community that has only recently showed up, I believe we're referred to as the COD/BF Rejects, or in Dreamcast's words, "Hipster/Elitist PC Gamers" (Hamma closed the thread he started about that for a good reason). We're gamers who have realised that we've been cheated by big name titles, therefore leaving us as bitter nomads, roaming from title to title, genre to genre, looking for a great honest game to call home. We have shown up at the doorstep of this game, as if it were a monastery, ready to be accepted by the community only to find that they would reject us, due to our resentment towards the modern fps influences on PS2, general skepticism of developers, and bias towards the genres we have found enjoyable on our solitary path (I found realism to be enjoyable, but it still is not a true home). Despite this, I'm willing to throw away my prejudices and judgements, and be a great, open minded beta tester, willing and capable of representing this group of gaming nomads, reporting every bug, and giving the devs the most concise feedback on every aspect of gameplay. That, my friend, is why I should get the key over anyone else.

PCGamer website, it got me interested and since then I signed up for beta but nothing so far.

Giant battles,co-operation,teamwork,costumization and great community just for free!

I have no idea, though I care about eleminating bugs instead of raging when I see them and hate game for it even when it's beta/alpha, Bugs must be eliminated!
