New Rig for Planetside 2

From looking at the specs, I would say yes it will run planetside 2 pretty damn well!

Nice I got it because mine was pretty old and GW2 and I didn't realize ps2 beta was so close got a key now just the wait

It'll certainly run PS2, but the 3770k and 7850 is an odd combination.

What do you mean? I was just hoping to run things on high and hopefully be fine in some big battles i mean i know there will be lag regardless but ya.. I mostly got it for GW2 but since i saw the beta coming soon im pretty stoked for it now

Well the 3770 is the high end of high end CPUs, whereas the 7850 is a mid-range GPU. Gaming doesn't really take advantage of what the 3770 has over the 3570, plus games tend to be more GPU-dependant. I'd expect a pre-built "gaming" rig to have a worse CPU and a better GPU.

It's kind of like having a slightly sporty road-car and then putting a jet engine inside it. It's still a good rig, though.

in the case of PS2 it is more CPU dependant. This would be a great rig for ps2

Gotcha well I guess if the cards don't work out to well could always get better ones. Is Nvidia cards better than radeon cards never really got that because I've heard different stories
