A.R.T. - Advanced Resource Transport "Hood"

Just fleshing out an idea I dropped on Higgles a long time ago. It brings back a variant of the ANT and creates a spec ops style of mission.

I just want to throw in there that I do not like the idea of removing Adjacency, as it stabilizes the front, but I guess we'll see what they come up with.

The Advanced Resource Transport "Hood". Steal from the rich and give to the poor! The ART, or "Hood", is capable of delivering Auraxium to your empire!

Have not ironed out all of the details, but what if you had a way to access an enemy base and steal Auraxium! It would require some sort of shielding that would need to be dropped first, then a drain on a component of the Base. Once filled, the Hood would need to be driven back to a receptacle in your Warpgate where the Auraxium would be "dumped". Each time this is done, the Auraxium that the base would have supplied to the enemy on the next tick, would instead go to your empire!

This is a totally rough draft and completely open to suggestions. So is the name of the vehicle. Some variants, the F.A.R.T. or MiT (Men in Tights). lol

I like it. Wouldn't mind if this could be used for the building resource too. Low on Catalyists? Go to a region that has some, steal it and bring it back to the warpgate and cash in.

The only problem is what's the point of going for a base capture when you can just steal the resources?

Good question and part of the ironing it out. Ownership does have it's advantage in that defending those resources means that they're yours at each tick.

Why have it go back to an empire warpgate. That gives loads of time for a squad of men from the same empire to ambush you and steal it back.
