Night vision!

Notice in the chat box in the upper corner someone is asking what button turns on the night vision. Did you already know about this? I diddnt. Whats going on?

...It never gets darker than dusk, and theres lights on all armors/vehicles. I think this person means dark-light or is a newb.

I think the guy might have been going crazy, i've never heard of nightvision, because the fact is it never gets really dark it just gets dusky.

Yeah, your right, probably a noob. I just had visions of sneaking around in the enemy base like in splinter cell and sticking to the shadows and all that sh!t.

Most Likely He has no idea what he is doing, and is assuming Planetside is your Standard FPS with MMO aspects... So he expects there to be some kind of night vision. Where as at this point in the games developement There isn't and is no need for it.

There's an implant that let's you see in the dark better. That's probley what he was refering to.

Implants occupy hotkeys, so using one would be as simple as looking at your hotkey bar and seeing which F key (ie. F1, F2, etc) activates it. Not only that, but we have a list of all known implants, and there are no night vision ones. Darklight, yes, but Darklight makes you see worse in all circumstances, its only benefit being the ability to see invisible stuff (which is a big benefit, and the biggest threat to stealthers).
