It'd been a while since I last did any digital painting so last night I decided to do a little. Well a little turned in to a lot. I'm rather pleased with what I eventually came up with. It's no where near perfect and it's just sort of a rough draft, but I hope you guys will like it. I also am including progression pictures.



Basically I based it mostly off the NC Guass. I started out by getting the shapes down and some basic shading. I then I added more detail and lighting effects. Finally I colored and textured it.

I posted it on the official PS2 forums and someone made some suggestions so I took it back to the drawing board for a bit and made some changes. And tada! Here you have it:

The flair of the stock is odd. I think a straight top on the stock would look better.

Done a pistol too now.



The M-12R "Pioneer". Known primarily for it's very powerful, though very slow and loud, shots. Inexpensive, rugged, and not hard to maintain.It's the go-to pistol of those with a more adventurous life. Men have sworn upon all their dead relatives that it is the best pistol ever, but these are mostly men who spend far too much time alone in the mountains so it's best not to pay much attention to them.

No reflection on your talent or ability.......but this looks like an Anal Obliterator-4000 with a laser scope from some retro-futuristic porn movie...
