I'm not a "FanBoy" or whatever people like to call people who like something...
But, overall - with the launch, I think SOE have done well. Yes, there have been problems. There's thousands of variables that need to be accounted for and some are going to missed at the start. What I have been impressed with is the way that the head honchos at SOE seem to quite "hands on" and seem genuinely concerned to make sure they deliver. I am in the EU so was having the problems that a lot were having - but they have jumped on that and, it seems, sorted most of it. There are still bugs...but the ones that were "ruining" the experience have been sorted, and I am sure the others will be soon. The important ones have been looked at first. Fair enough. I still have some gripes but that will keep for another thread. They aren't major. PS2 is going to be an epic game & I kind of love the fact that I am here at the beginning. Yes, I have had a drink and feeling kind of warm and fuzzy inside - but I have been having so much fun playing, I do think the PS2 team deserve a thankyou and a pat on the back. I should also like to blame you upfront for the forthcoming weeks of my lack of sleep. Cin Cin. |

Aye to that. I remember when the countdown timer for the launch of the game was only 10 seconds left, I thought to myself, wooo im part of history! As such, I was so excited to see the clock count down to zero. Although the glee was short lived as the website crashed immediately and the download part was a bit of a struggle (ping issues for me), it was well worth it.
Thank you very much PS2 team for giving us such an amazing game! Keep it up! |
