I saw this for the first time last night.
Location: Tech plant Indar (dont remember the name) Faction : NC My Faction: VS I went light assault to go over the shield on the side entrance, I was on a roll, killed a engi trying to mow me down with his turrent , landed on the walk pad, checked my rocket juice saw that it was recharging, was waiting for a full charge. At the same time I was mowing down NC as they were coming around the corner. I figured at full charge Id go up over the walll throw a grenade and get back behind cover. As I was reaching full charge, I mowed down about two more NC as they ran around the wall. I was charged and ready to go. I hit my F key and went straight up. OMFG as i went over the wall I saw that there was a sundy sitting next to the capture point. I was so shocked I forgot to throw my grenade and was hit with a wall of gunshot and rockets. Needless to say I have to give it to the guys who thought this one up, I for one can not even think of a way that you could get a sundy up the damn stairs, but obviouse it is so. By the way when I did my second run as light assault I managed to get off a grenade and got a 6 man kill in that NC cluster. I have to give it to you guys that was pretty creative. |

People have started doing this all the time now. They also wedge sundies up the stairs (or under them) in amp stations and they end up half floating there.
So far towers have been untouched by the stair-climbing sundies, probably because there's not much you can do beyond wedging it half way up. |

Ya we did this a few times in beta, one time wedging it in the stairs and entering and bailing from the right seat (i think seats like 10-12) would drop you into the walls of the base and u could run around in there invincible. We all reported and figured it would be fixed...

You can drive sunderers up those stairs in the tech plants, I believe. I was going to try driving a vanguard up there, but didn't have enough time.
I'm waiting until some determined person figures out how to park a mag in the bio dome. The floating/sliding parked sunderers have been around for a while. I remember some sunderers literally floating in free space in beta. Why they can't just glue a stationary, parked vehicle in place (except if hit by another vehicle) is beyond me? ...The trick is balancing it on top of a Galaxy long enough to get it up to the pad. No, he's the girl who killed that guy in the Trailer... ...Vanu and all that... |

Oh man... this thread gave me SO many ideas to try during outfit training...
@OP: yeah, I saw that. The guy that got that sundy up into Tarwich also mowed about a dozen NC down in the process. We theorize he was a VS spy. And now I suspect you're a double agent.
