- Also, the PS4 is a ways out, so you have a few years before you have to worry about it - IF it comes out, which I still doubt. Since it is Sony, its not a stretch to believe that something like this could come out, but given how Sony has avoided such integration in the past, its likely to be a PS4 only version.
- Finally, PS4 has the use of a mouse and keyboard, The PS Move (which isnt bad, its a good in-between), and a DS3. In Dust, most of the good players are using the mouse and keyboard.

If it ever comes to console, allowing players to use mouse and keyboard in PS2 would be a dealbreaker for me; not only are you giving the players who choose to use it a clear advantage, but you are also forcing players (who don't want to be at a disadvantage) to move from the couch to a desk, which completely flies in the face of the more 'casual' appeal of a console.
CCP felt forced to include mouse and keyboard in Dust 514, because in spite of popular demand for the game to come to PC, they chose to make it a Playstation exclusive. Planetside 2 doesn't face that same problem and should therefore remain controller-exclusive to keep the gameplay balanced.
