Death Before Dishonor


A little bit of history

First and foremost we're a multi-gaming clan which has a long history in FPS and MMOFPS specifically. If you can think of an MMOFPS there's a high chance we've had some sort of presence playing it. This makes Planetside 2 a perfect fit for us.

We were established in 2001 in Project Entropia and have always been primarily a PvP focussed clan in whatever game we've played. We had a long standing presence and large influence in Face of Mankind and have also played Neocron and Planetside 1 in our time.

Are we for you?

We like to think of ourselves as more of a group of friends and community rather than just a Planetside outfit. We're looking for mature members who would like an organised and structured clan but with a more casual atmosphere. Also if you're looking for a clan to play Planetside with and play some other games with at the same time then we're for you.

We aren't the biggest NC outfit on our server, however we aren't a small outfit by any means. Our numbers are currently at 200 in Planetside, with 150 registered on our forums. Our aim is to get all of our members involved with our community. We are also praised as being one of the top NC outfits on the server.

We are looking for all classes of player, including those who enjoy vehicles. We don't specialise in any one thing and like to be a solid jack of all trades outfit, being able to face any situation effectively.

We also search for quality leadership and since joining Planetside 2 have already promoted a few people to officers who are in charge of leading platoons and squads, recruiting and training new members. We are looking for long term commitment from our members not just 600 grunts who will never speak to each other outside of Planetside.

Structure & Ranks

We have a rank structure which we have evolved over time to be the most effective way to organise the clan.

High Command
High Command will take responsibility of all leadership, planning, tactical and structural clan decisions.


General - Reserved for founders and those who have made outstanding contributions to Death Legion


Colonel - Those who have shown great leadership ability and dedication to Death Legion. Colonels will usually be given a clan department to head over. e.g Colonel of the Rough Necks (Head of Recruitment).


Captain - Captains are those who have shown good leadership ability and will handle day-to-day running of DL ops. Captains will usually be appointed to head up game divisions. e.g The Captain appointed for Neocron is currently Kien Marek. Also for community, website and forum management.


Death Legion Officers
Officers will handle the day-to-day running the ops in games. All Officers are also forum mods.


Lieutenant - Individuals who have risen through the ranks and have shown potential for higher leadership. Captains map appoint Lieutenants as their Second in Command for a game division.


Centurion - Centurions are tasked with the responsibility of leading general in-game squad operations. Other responsibilities include recruiting new members, mentoring and training Rough Necks.


Death Legion Members
All full Death Legion Members fall under this category

Praetorian - Praetorians are highly experienced members and elite combatants of Death Legion. This rank may be awarded to members for longevity.


Legionnaire - All full Death Legion members fall under this category.


Rough Necks
New recruits and those under trial membership.


Corporal - Members who have passed trial and are awaiting enlistment into the DL ranks.


Private - New members who have just joined and are currently under trial.

Entry Requirements & Rules

Here is where we differ from a lot of the other outfits. We have very little entry requirements and no age restriction. The main reason being that a lot of our more loyal and respectable members and leaders were recruited when they were just 15 or 16 and have stuck with us now till well into their 20s (myself included). That being said we also have a lot of older members too, a few in their 30s and 40s.

Our only rules are that you show respect to fellow members and join teamspeak when you're gaming with us.
