Do hacked terminals ever return to normal?

I've never had the patience to hang around for a while watching one, but does a terminal that has been hacked by an infilitrator ever revert to normal, without being destroyed? I've never seen one revert while I've been watching it.

No I believe that the term stays hacked until either the base is taken and it resets or another Infiltrator hacks it.

If a infi. hack a terminal there are 3 ways to change it back: re-hack it, destroy it and flip the base. But there are no timers that would reset the hack if no one is doing any of the 3 ways mentioned above.
