Map lag

When i checked in recently my map screen has started to lag real bad. Whenever i press "m" or go in deployment this unbearable lag kicks in.
Makes zooming and moving the map almost impossible and choosing spwan points is a pain in the arse.

Anyone else experiencing this? Is it a known issue?

Re: Map lag

Just tried it again, it's barely playable as of now for me. :L

It's as if there is too much processing going on when the map is opened. For example it takes basically the whole spawn time for the deployment screen to open up and "settle down". Any adjustment to the map, like zooming or moving it starts the monster-lag again. Which makes choosing a spawnpoint or just checking where to go a slightshow pain in the arse.
The game itself runs smooth and fine though.

Thankfully it's not just me according to some in-game yell-research so i hope it's on their radar (i reported it ofc).

Just was curious if it's widespread or some info around on what could be causing this. :J

Re: Map lag

With a i5 3750K, 16 GB ram, and a GTX 670, and I still have 1+ delay from when I press m until the map opens. Very annoying, specially when driving or flying.

I have had it for quite some time now. I play on a i5 2500k @ 3.30GHz; 8 GB RAM; NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680 with 4 GB V-RAM

And yes it's quite annoying.
