I'd like it back for my crow, because they replaced it with the superior anhilliator. I'm kind of pissed about this thing they do with releasing weapons, nerfing them, and then releasing superior versions of them.

I figure the same must be true of the AA launcher versus air being superior to the annihilator. I've been hit by an annihilator rocket in my ESF before, and it did a measly 17%. Pathetic. I think the Stryker might be superior to all the previous lock-ons, though, which kinda sucks for those like me who have all of them. |

if you had to pick between having an Anti-tank rocket, an anti-air rocket and an anti-ground and anti-air rocket combination, which of the three would you pick? it makes no fucking sense to carry a crow when I have an anhilliator and a phoenix. Especially not when you have 6-7 others firing with you at the same target.

I DID get a refund on the Skyguard as it was one of the first things I purchased the day of release.
Most everything I bought early. AMR-66 looked at the "stats" bars in game. OMG huge damage, great accuracy... its a piece of crap compared to the TMG. The bars lied. Whatever semi-auto shotguns I purchased. They are obsolete. The SARS or whatever the TR infil auto rifle was that was made obsolete by the SMGs. The first SMG when the second came out that was generally better. HE and AP prowler, Lightning and Magrider guns... because HEAT. I think I bought every carbine. I abuse... er use the under-barrel nade launcher still so Nighthawk, Hailstorm, TRAC-5s are the only three I use. I've put off buying a lot of new weapons recently, for the reason i'm afraid of the nerf and replace with something superior incoming. |

Almost everything. Shotguns were underpowered even before nerf so I haven't used them for a while. Most of the carbines aren't that good, default and pulsar c would be more than enough. Manticore, I don't know about that, since it got buffed a bit, but I used certs for commissioner, so now I have to use that. 2nd tier smg is ok, but I don't want to cripple myself to close range so I haven't used that much.
Ns-11c isn't that good, but I'm happy I bought it, since it gives me a greatly different experience compared to the dull sounding vanu weapons. So, pulsar c and ns-11c would be the only bought items that I wouldn't refund, everything else would be refunded. |

Nemesis - only effective in groups and replaced by the superior Annihilator
AP for Ligthning - not strong enough in AV to get rid of AI capabilities HE for Lightning - I do not see the point when you can just roll with HEAT. The difference in AI is small, the difference in AV noticeable AP primary for Magrinder - same as above Skyguard - While fun to use, not effective enough. A max does everything way better Rocketpods - While not a bad weapon (actually, it's too good /imho) I despise their whole design and concept. Stupid weapon. ESF AA missiles - useless Only stuff left is my shotty and my smg. Which are okayish. I doubt I would buy them again, but they are, besides cosmetics almost the only thing I would keep. 1. I can get where I need to be REALLY REALLY FAST. 2. I can still be an engineer while piloting my Skyguard, so I can protect a group of Vanguards from aircraft AND repair any damage they do sustain with my repair gun. 3. Self sufficiency. I can repair my own Skyguard. I don't need an engineer to follow me around and repair me like a max does. 4. More ammo? I don't know how they stack up in terms of ammo but I think the Skyguard has more. AA Maxes are better at killing, sure. Skyguards are generally better for deterrence and protection of armor divisions though. Pilots can't stand the *TINKTINKTINKTINKTINK* on their hull so they immediately turn away from you and seek out an easier fight. It's not really necessary to kill them. The only exception I've seen to this is an Ammo Sunderer full of AA Maxes. That is a sight to behold. |

The coplaints about thel ock on launchers are frankly idiotic. The old launchers do more damage lock on faster and can be dumbfired. Claiming that the Anihilator is "vastly superior" is just jumping on a bandwagon.
Sure you can use it against both air and tanks but its inferior in both those roles simply becouse of its pitifull damage. The only reason i even have it is that its cheaper to get it instead of the 2 specialised ones. Last edited by MrMak; 2013-04-19 at 07:26 AM. |

And when in a group the shorter lock on timer and higher damage doesn't matter anymore. You are overkilling your target anyway. Also the group being able to kill any approaching vehicle is way more valuable then any of the benefits of the dedicated launchers. It's the same problem with many of PS2 weapons balance. They look equal on paper, but once you use them within their respective combat scenario, one becomes the better choice. Last edited by Emperor Newt; 2013-04-19 at 08:26 AM. |

The camos that I bought before the camo update. My Sundy now sticks out like a mansion in a trailer park instead blending right in to the background. It really annoys me because before the pdate, I would be moving down a road (not even stopping) when an ESF or a Liberator flew by, and didn't even get shot at. Now, II get shot at even if I'm standing still... It's really starting to piss me off. Why SOE did this, I don't even have the slightest idea. If it was some sort of bug, then it should have been fixed IMMEDIATELY, and should not have been waited on.

Second Pounder.
The trajectory was difficult to handle before GU7, but they have increased the gravity from 2 to 10; I might as well be throwing bricks at tanks. The Pounder was lame before but it is utterly worthless now. Last edited by psijaka; 2013-04-19 at 08:20 AM. |
