im sorry but this has not run its course...... this is the asshatt in question. this was not a debate on weather he was hacking or not, i already proved he was .i had links up to the newest hacks he was using and where he got them.hamma read and posted in that thread, and did not close it down for a reason.
it was to inform the public of what to look for. think of it as a educational post.
if you are not up to speed with the newest hacks in game you wont be able to spot them.most had to watch it a few times to spot the hacks in question. if we keep information like this off the forums, how are we going to educate legit players on what to look for when it comes to the latest hacks?

if people want to stay clueless to what the newest hacks are, and how they are being used in game ill be glad to keep this information on the connery thread.
i just want everyone on this forum to know what hacks are out there, and i want everyone to be able to spot them as easy as i can. this comes down to a better quality of gameplay for everyone. if we have more information to combat the hackers we can spot and report them faster.

if you watch the video in that link, and you dont the see hacks, THEN YOU ARE WHATS WRONG WITH THE GAME, and this thread is for you. this was the point i was trying to make in the last thread.

no offense to chimp, i know he was just doing his job, but you get people like newt trying to derail the thread saying, "i dont see any hacks, hackusations are not allowed". then chimp sees this, and shuts it down.

i really do feel that it is important that all we know what hacks are being used in game. some will say , "i dont see many hackers". i assure you they are everywhere , and the reason you cant see them is because you dont know what to look for.

I'd be really curious to know what percentage of players cheat. If I had to guess I'd peg it at around 10% with the vast majority of cheaters using wall/radar hacks, also alot of clipping going on this game I'm pretty sure are hacks. Really crazy obvious aimbots aren't that prevelant, though there are a few ESF pilots I suspect use aim assist cheats. Unfortunately there really a way to tell if a player is legitimate or cheating without spectate mode. I've reported a couple ESFs pilots and commented that I don't know, just have my suspicions and I'd like to spectate them. A couple guys I've reported seem to have been banned, so I think report works for the most part, but I really don't know.

I am very curious though what fraction of the playerbase cheats, and I wonder how different it is compared to battlefield 3, which this game does feel like there is more cheating, but not too much more.

I noticed some players seem to Strafe faster than others.

Im not sure is this because they know how to strafe or is it because of hacks.

It just seems slightly faster nothing crazy but just enough where it looks pretty fast but in the realm of possibility for them to not be hacking

Anybody know?

*Sigh* The video itself was a possible hackusation and there was no further points to be had. I do not close threads because of some third party poster who posts something that he/she is not supposed to. True, I did give the thread a chance to become something other than a hackusation thread.

Threads concerning specific hackers, someone suspected of hacking etc. are normally closed because they serve no point. PSU cannot do anything about them, only SOE can. I should not have to explain this.
Want to discuss hacks and how they are used in general? Fine. Do so within the confines of the rules.

The thread was closed and thus should not be opened again. Have a problem with something a moderator has done? Take it to those who can do something about it (mods or admins).

In fealty to Planetside Universe (our undying home) and by the Grace of the Golden Hammer, I declare this thread closed on the grounds of hackusation, being unconstructive and complaining about a mod descision.
