I don't know.

I guess they already have great weapons. They have nanoweave. They can heal w/o using the utility slot. They can rez.

To also have the ability to kill max/vehicles/aoe infantry - seems over the top.

Were I designing the game, I'd leave that to the LA/HA/Eng.

Every infantry can kill maxes
Every infantry can have nanowave (anyways I prefer to stick to flak due to my self heal ability)
Every infantry can heal themselves
Every infantry can kill vehicles (infiltrators need a bit of hacking for it though)
Only the infiltrator doesn't have C4. And personally, I think that they should have it.
In fact I think the medic need more utility slot stuff apart from C4 they can't really choose... Medpacks excluded.

I play all classes and the medic is one of the most balanced ones. And that means that the others got more tools than them.

Basically the formula is the next.
A is balanced
B is overpowered
C is overpowered
D is a bit overpowered

Conclussion: A is underpowered because is balanced.

The medic have an important role in coordinated squads, but normally is just a cert zerger.

It does seem odd that the group healer carries one of the most destructive utility items in the game...

Between revive, mass revive, group heal, self heal and access to some highly appreciated guns, C4 strikes me as overdoing it.

HA that load C4 over resto? very disappoint.

they even let me load restos on my medic so i can put some more self healing on my self healing.

this argument about the one time out of 50 that you will loadout C4 on the medic is the definition of marginal.

I always run with two C4 on every class that can carry it, excepting when I'm using tank mines on my engineer. When I see people spamming restoration kits on themselves in YouTube videos, I just think how wasteful that is, and how they have no quick way to take out a tank or max or turret. People are too conscious of their K/D and don't care enough about actually being useful towards winning the battle.

It is a personal choice. I get a huge rush from taking out vehicles with C4 with my heavy even if it is a rare event. Most of the times I die, resto or a med kit would not have helped me. I avoid enemies when I am not at full health if I can help it.

Nothing better than walking up to a prowler without the driver knowing what's coming.
