Quick question about Beta activation....

Sorry if this was already asked, but.....

A friend of mine got into the beta. Now I know they give one activation code per account. But does that account only work on one computer?

Can I also install it on my computer, and use his account to play, when he's not?

I don't think so, and even if you could that'd be violating the NDA.

Not that i'm in beta, ummm... yeah... but if they have the program, you can use your account anywhere, like EQ, did I say I'm in beta? yeah, I am not, uh-huh, really! I'm not breaking the NDA if I don't say I am in , am I??

"Sharing" an account is strictly against the NDA. One account, one user.

Yea, but I thought the NDA no longer exists once the open beta starts.
Cause there was a thread awhile saying the NDA is still in effect till all the open beta testers got their beta's. So one can only draw from that conclusion that the NDA will soon be dropped....

And how do they tell if someone is sharing an account? IP check?

NDA is in effect until they say its lifted.

NDA won't be lifted till the devs say so, even then they said it wouldn't be completly gone just eased up.
