I was wondering how the games physics handle this. Like if you were fly a galaxy into a deployable base would both of them explode or just the galaxy? Or if you're out of ammo, could you kami your reaver into another plane for one last kill? Could you maybe crush a lone enemy vehicle by landing your galaxy on it?

In all liklyhood the physics for collisions of that type are very much the same as for Tribes2 minus the shields. If you havn't played Tribes2 you can download the demo.
In tribes2 if you drive a vehicle into anything else, regardless whether its another vehicle or not, it will recieve damage based on velocity and will only explode if that damage taken exceeds its full health. In other words if either you arn't already damaged or you arn't traveling fast enough then when you hit the target you won't explode but you will merely take some damage and you'll come to a stop. Landing ontop of another vehicle will likly cause more damage to your vehicle then to the one your landing on. |
