im so confused... i was expecting to get into open beta... i thought it was open! i thought anybody could be in open beta...
can someone please explain to me what the difference is between closed beta and open beta, i dont see a difference... i really wanted to be in "open" beta... i was going to be the tester that would make sure PS would run on a crappy video card ... anyways, please explain!

well "exclusive Beta" is when only a handful of gamers get in, but it is open to the public, a "closed Beta" is when developers hire their own beta testing team, you've seen them in the credits of games as "Testers" think of them as QA department. A "open beta" is when the beta is open to the public and their lettin EVERYONE in even the guys with the bad video cards, lol, usually if a company does "exclusive Beta" then they'll do open beta, open beta is usually used for testing server loads and things like that
