Sweeper Shotgun

Ok I know we all have seen the Sweeper Shotgun but does anyone have any clue as to damage, ROE, and all that? Will it be like the Fletchette Rifle or will it just be less powerful? Please devs, tell us!

its just a flechette rifle, the devs have stated repeatedly that they released all of the infantry weapons.

how the hell do you pronounce flechette anyway :P..ive always wondered.

Personally, I plan on focusing on Flechette as my backup for my chaingun

...but i dunno..cycler might be a better choice since its got range.. but the flechete can peirce armor..decisions decisions.

honestly im still torn on whether i will go TR or NC.. Chain gun and cycler..or Jackhammer and Gauss... arg! its impossible to decide. TR has cooler vehicles..NC has more powerful weapons.. TR has better colors..NC has better uniforms..

i believe it is pronounced flesh-et but ive only heard it said out loud once so im not sure. (TR TR TR TR TR) You can carry both a flechette and a cycler if you in a medium.

I think the proper question is NC vs. VS, and in the end the answer boils down to speed or power. The TR vehicles aren't as powerful or fast, and their weapons have neither power nor accuracy. And they don't look as good. Ergo, the decision is simple-> Go NC

ahem, the Prowler has more armor then any other piece of equipment in the game. The cycler is the rifle best suited for marksmen (integrated scope) and lets not forget that the TR has a little something i like to call volume of fire. Or do you think your little pansy flux cannon can outgun a 40mm grenade launcher and a 20mm chaingun. (refering to the respective assault buggies.)

actually I think the TR vehicles look ALOT better than the NC.. as for power.. though the NC vehicles do pack more power per punch..the TR vehicles sport a higher rate of fire. taking the marauder as an example.. it doesnt have that rocketlauncher or whatever that the NC buggy has..BUT..it has 2 seats..one with a chain gun (anti infantry) and one with a grenade launcher (ant-vehicle) .. the NC buggy has only one seat..with the rocket launcher..which i imagine will have a more limited ammo supply.

as for tanks.. well.. no denying that the NC tank is alot more powerful..and i imagine that even with the higher rate of fire that the TR tank has..the NC tank is the better of the two. Unfortunatly, im not a big "tank person" so that isnt a real deciding factor for me.

of the buggys..i definatly think that the TR has the NC and VS beat... in both looks and versatility.

As stated countless time there is no better empire, they all have strong points and not so strong points.

Oh and yes it is pronounced "flesh-et".

thanks for the pronunciation. And im not argueing which empire is BETTER really.. well..i am..but only which one is better for me

. Im sure that the vanu will be a force..but i dont like energy weapons or purple and teal or hovering vehicles so I wont be them

.

Personnaly..I just think the Marauder is the better buggy.

Yeah that's what's great there is no winning empire but 3 empires that each have something that everybody can like. I love everything about the VS. TR is ok and NC well let's not discuss them.
