Question about Clan Tags

does anyone know if there will be a way to put on clan tags within the game without having to name your character

the reason I ask is because, unlike other FPS'..i imagine you cant just change your characters name at will..seeing as its an MMOFPS.. so..there would need to be a function within the game to allow you to add/remove clan tags.

That is not confirmed (i dont think) but im sure it will be in. Outfits were not in or not shown to us when I played.

Yeah guess they would keep the T2 style. I personnaly think that was a very good system.

Just a small correction PS isn't a MMORPG. Sorry but that just made my skin crawl.

T2's tag system was good, yes. The one thing they tried to do that was bad however, was bring the community into the game too much. They added the in-game forums and news and all that junk that nobody really used seriously. The official team listings/tags were good in t2. Hopefully they can even make the system allow tags that surround names like you enter: :[$nick]: and it will do :[powdahound]: for the in-game name. In t2 you could only have a tag at the start or end of the name, not both.

That was just an example tag from an old t1 team, not mine or anything.

I figured it would be similar to other MMORPGs.

Yes, I know this is an MMOFPS mixed with RTS elements - but their system worked well. Something akin to:

Zarparchior < Fires of Heaven >

Then again... I remember hearing from someone that names only appear on characters if they are on YOUR team. So the only way you'll know the other outfits for opposing teams is if you get to see their emblem on their armor (if they have one).

You would also know the persons name when you kill them too, right? Ex.(You just owned so-in-so from the NC empire)
