Free Beta to FilePlanet Subscribers

This being the ultimate slap in the face. Those of us who have been following the community for at least a year and a half have been begging and pleading for a Beta slot.! Sony climbs in bed with file planet to GIVE AWAY slots to people who have paid thier dues to FILE PLANET not PLANETSIDE. Horse Shit I say!!!! And download to boot! I unlike many have been accepeted for open beta.... two weeks ago! and STILL wiat for my CD to arrive! This is the second Friday i have eagerly checked the mail box for the 7th tiime this week, looking for my long awaited beta CD only to find an empty box......Oh...what i would have given for a simple download the same day my email was lit up with the glorious news that i had been accepted into open Beta. Again!! Horse Shit! I have been accepted and I want download... fuck the Mail.... Christ it may come covered with Anthrax anyway!

Who is with me...... Band together and revolt! And if you can kill a few Vanu along the way i say Cudos to you!!!

Little contradictory there, no? You act like you'd have given just about anything, but a subscription to fileplanet is too much.

And fileplanet does this quite often now. I don't even sign up for betas anymore. I just wait for the fileplanet download (at 1.6MB/s, too!).

I wil. just i don't have a credit card, checking acct, or paypal subscription. so i'm crap outa luck until my mom wakes up. on the main page, it says the number of accts is limited, so i want to try to get her to subscribe for me at about 6:00 EST when she lets the dogs out. you have no idea how much i've anticipated playing this game...

worth paying the money for cos if u use fileplanet anyway u can use there fast servers no waiting...

I dont really see why people have a problem with FP. A few years back we payed more than $6.95/month for magazines with random stuff on their coverdisks, and that was the only way to get betas/demos. People take the internet too much for granted.
