problems with game

hey everyone. I Need some help. Just got on planetside beta and my game is not working correctly. Game seems to think my screen is bigger than it really is. How can I correct this problem. I have windows xp with an intel display adapter driver. Guys and ladies i need your help.

Well, it immediately makes me think of a driver issue with your display driver (video card driver) and the game.

Ask yourself two questions: 1) What type of video card do I have and 2) Is its driver up to date?

If you can find out what type of video card you own and also come to find out that it's driver is out of date, then by all means, update it.

Obviously, if you can run the game then you at least know that your video card is compliant somewhat with it. Beyond that my friend, I can't really think of anything else off hand. Hopefully, a qualified tech guru will be able to give you a second opinion.

The 7500 will barely support PlanetSide. Go higher if you can. How much money do you have to play with?

Good man, good man. Might I point you toward a particularly good verison of the 9500 PRO?

Or this one perhaps?

The Tyan is cool, but this one already has the OC tweaks inside it, and the heatsinks are modded along with a better fan.

Also, if you want to get the Zalman heatpipe cooling mechanism, don't. Unless you're going to put an 80mm fan right in front of it, don't bother. The temperature increase between the Zalman heat pipe and conventional cooling is rather negligible, and the heatpipe does get very hot.

I would also get some heatshrink and fold up the power cable so that it only extends to the fan header. No use having it flapping around. I like things that look tight and neat in my case.

jesus, I bought a Sapphire 9500 Alantis Pro, nothing fancy and it works like a charm. no mods, nothing.... no need in making it any more complicated then you have to. (KISS)
