DPMS Mode Off just sounds like something a monitor might say when it has no signal.
Random reboots can be a thousand issues: Bad RAM Bad Motherboard Bad Processor Software Issue Computer Overheating. Take your pick. We need more info, and you probably will still have to narrow it down a bit on your own. |

Well after reading 20 pgs of useless stuff I kinda found out what it is. It's a thing energystar made to conserve energy when a comp is idle. Why it would be doing this while I play games is beyond me. We called Tech support but i did something wrong when I went to some screen afyer restart. It was oviously there since there was like GPMS lol. Tech supporsadi I must of put it on Off mode

Energysaver turnoff? Let me check... (will edit later)
OK, if it's your monitor, do this: Go to control panel Open "Display" Go to "screen saver" Click on "Power" Look under "Settings for *** power scheme" and set all of those to "Never" That SHOULD fix the problem. Let us know if it doesn't. Last edited by SpaceDrake; 2003-05-11 at 08:58 AM. |
