SOE owes me CEP

Spent Two hours leading the un-locking of Esamir last night. My squad was the first there trying to take the accursed drop ship center and end the Vanu lock on the cont. It was one HELL of a battle I think there must have been at least 200 fighting there at some points. Finally someone from my squad got the hack,and we were able to move in and occupy. We barely managed to keep the swarming Vanu's back. Finally the moment comes. 3,2,1. NOTHING! Everyone on my squad gets 2000 BEP, except me, the leader, who got nothing at all, no CEP, no BEP, nothing. I was not in the SOI at the time of capture but I certainly got many kills within it both before and during the hack time and I was on that cont the whole time. Squad of 9 all received it including others not in SOI. Why didnt I get my CEP? It was all I needed to go up a CR and I fought hours to get it. SOE owes me CEP.

Better yet, did you submit a bug report or just curse up a storm that SOE screwed you over?

Continent-wide XP sharing for caps is not working correctly right now. Try to stay in the SOI, that is the only way I have guarenteed the xp.

Yes I did and they jumped into action for me. The going rate for one CEP on the international market is $5 American, so SOE has agreed to pay me $10,000 in recompensation as well as give me the secret finished copy of the game today instead of making me wait for the release date.

I dont actually think they owe me anything, thats just a joke, I was just a little dissapointed when it happened. These things are to be expected in Beta though, ah well.

We had the SAME thing happening in my squad. We switched off squad leaders a couple times, but each of us had it happen. We'd capture a facility and everyone will get exp except the leader. I think it happened 3 times. Not every time though, and the leader usually wasn't in the SOI.


Although there was this one time my squadmates were cross-continent making there way towards us in a harasser. As they drove through the SOI of Jarl it was captured by us and I suddenly got lots of CEP. That was cool.

Im going to have to make sure I hug that SOI for caps in the future then. CEP is hard enough to accumulate as it is. I have also had it happen that I or even a squadmember is travelling through a SOI when it switches and myself gotten BEP or CEP for it. Thats a nice little bonus sometimes. I wish there was some other way to get CEP aside from caping bases. Bad leaders can easily be present at a base cap and good leaders do so much more that could be worth CEP.

Ironically one of our squad leaders logged for the night about 10 minutes before we capped another base (3rd or 4rth, I forget) and promoted a grunt without him noticing. We cap the base and over TS I hear "DAMNIT! I don't want freaking CEP!"

Maybe they didn't give you points because Esamir (as a continent bordering multiple sanctuaries) can never truly be locked now that the lattice system in place

I was the one taking it FROM the lock. So it was the first and only base we were controlling on the cont.
