You can buy the heavy weapons cert but you can't get a chaingun from a terminal. Having a heavy weap cert allows you to use one if you loot it from a dead TR player.

I'm going to start making a collection of faction weapons in my locker. Soon I should have any weapon I want/need at my disposal.

Right now I always carry a Cycler with me because it owns all the other med assault weapons.

I have a very nice stash of all the empire's weapons in my locker, if I want more, I just play as a max and fill my inv with them and their ammo to use later

Cycler owned by Gauss? From what I hear the Cycler owns the medium battlefield. Semi-tight CoF, 4x Zoom, and the fact it is the fastest firing weapon in the game helps too

The Gauss used to be too accurate and therfore over powered, so the devs nerfed it for the better of the people.

The gauss used to do its job, then idiots whined about it and it was summarily destroyed.

Now TR has the best of almost everything in the game.

I love looting, in my locker on Marakov I have 6 or 7 Jackhammers, 3 Mag Scatters, and 5 Gauss. Dont have any VS weapons but Im working on it

I would not waste the space for 1

*though I have been told that they are a bit better now, I will have to try them more on the field before I even consider that they are worth anything more than 1/2 a cert

So if the cycler owns the gauss, and the stryker owns the phoenix, what the hell is an nc infantry like me gonna do? Maybe i should just go tr, i dunno... I much prefer how the NC look.
