You must have slipped something in my drink Tobias...
Scratch that. You must replaced my entire drink with some kind of mind altering drug. I'm sending in an application form for the Shinobi Outfit. Even after all the thought and careful planning I put into joining the TR. That's right - I'm joining... The Vanu! If you're surprised, it's alright. I am too.

The shinobi seem a little too bit fanatical for me. I might join em though, it all depends if I find a Vanu squad that suits me.

I'm exceedingly tired of joining loose clans that never practise, do not have a charter, and are generally for people who shouldn't be in a clan but want to have a |33+ tag on their name.
What's so fanatical about it anway? I've seen EQ guilds that require you to play at least 6 hours a day, be level 60 (highest at the time) and have nigh maximum resist gear. Anything less equals BYE. If the whole "Shinobi" theme is the fanatical part in your opinion... oh well. This kind of stuff has always interested me anyway.

The main reason I didn't want to be Vanu is that it seems everyone (on the PSU and PSI forums, at least) wants to be them. What fun is it to join the side that's going to win? Where's teh struggle? Where's teh Heros made from teh struggle? Where's teh from teh Heros made from teh struggle?
Then I read a little more in depth on the Shinobi Outfit. I liked em' and their style, and decided to send in an app. And I got in! w00t! Now only one minor drawback: I need to wait for the game to come out. Small, isn't it?

I'm thinking about sending in an app but I'll most likely wait for release and then look for an outfit with some skills. Plus, I like to be chosen for my skills, not my application cause well, I suck at applications (including beta and so I won't get in ).

My experience with clans is that if you're good (like me), you'll get asked by a few clans to join them. Some of them are good, some of them are bad. I've not had the best of luck and it seems I get the bad clans. If you're god-like, you may get asked into a uber leet clan. I wouldn't press your luck though. They are generally tightly knit and are weary of outsiders.
Or so the story goes.
