Why did you pick your empire?

I personally prefer TR, now my friend keeps telling me I'm a n00b for picking them and that all TR people are n00bs, so fill out this poll, if other, tell what it is in the post.

I chose it by weapons because I like the philosophy of do as much damage as you can in one blow as opposed to the other factions styles.

I'm still stuck between the New Conglomerate and Vanu Sovereignty. I like them both, and have characters on both (well, did have... but I plan to make them again after the tonight's wipe). I've tried the Terran Republic, but they just don't suit my style.

I too randomly chose mine, I was in a hurry to get in the game, I didn't care what I was, but now I'm sticking with it, loser or not.

May be silly but I picked mine by the fiction/story line. I'm torn between NC and VS right now-- no way in hell I would go TR. TR seems very zergish to me and in my time playing TR very unfriendly. (Had br8 in all 3)

VS seemed the most organized overall, but I really do not like the feel of driving the hoover craft, otherwise I would pick them. I may still go VS just for the jump jets and I can just drive a lightning or sunder since they dont hover.

When I first got into the closed beta I played NC because of the storyline, freedom, yada yada. Then I relised I liked the TR weaposn better, so I switched, meh.

I even resisted when my real life friends were like "NC is gay!" (They were all either Vanu or Terran). They are now the sluts of the PS Universe, having one of each race. No dedication whatsoever.

picked nc for a few reasons... bofore i played it was because im color blind and blues a color i can see right (helps when it doesnt mess with u to look at ur squad mates)...

after playing (tried all three), i just liked the nc weapons better (expecially the pheonix)... they better suit what i like to do for my squad, and thats hunt down and kill maxs and reavers i get my kicks going after people who think they're safe...

then after getting involved with outfits, i enjoy nc's company better, just seem like nicer people.

Well there is only 1 reason I picked TR, they have the same colors of the Botherhood of NOD, my all time fav group of guys in any game ever...

Why I picked VS:

When I first got into this game, the server my outfit was on, Markov, was down, and I was going to be TR on that server. So I created a VS on Dalton to pass time, and ended up sticking with that character. :-D

The weapons are what got me hooked with NC in the first place. After I read more about them and saw some screen shots, I knew I'd stick with them.

I chose TR for several reasons, the color scheme/how the looked/their weapons/their vehicles and I've always wanted to be an opressor...looking to start a plantation and get me some Vanu Slaves and NC bitches to make me happy =)
