Since its a pistol, can it be ued by the Stealth suit?

Cool scenario:
Your a decent commander with mosquito, stealth, hack, adv hack, and mag scatter certs.

Gather a bunch of guys, and get them moving towards a base in a pair of galaxies.

You go in ahead, in a mosquito, with a stealth suit/REK. When you get to the base your attacking, jump out near a wall/entrance. Hide out until an hubbubb dies down. Slowly make your way to the HQ. Call your guys (2 galaxies fully loaded outside voice com (2 channels)) and tell them your ready. They attack the base. Full frontal assault, GAUSS for the Meds, and infantry loadouts for the MAXes. You take out the few remaining guys singly with your MAG Scatter, gaining a few beps. You hack the base. Soon as its hacked, the MAXes bust down the doors, to get in a guards YOU from the counter-assault. If they get through your the only hope of re-hacking the base.

The 2 heavy buggys circles the base, scouting anything detected. 15 min later, you get CEP, your squads already have gained massive BEP, and then NC rightfully gains a base. And you've all had fun

You should see some of my early posts. I could ask a question about Grenades, and turn it into something about a MAX's electical systems so fast it makes my own head spin just thinking about it.

To answer the origonal question, since it's a pistol i'd assume yes, but I don't know for sure.

Yeah NC and VS stealths might have a slight advantage over TRs. Since both the NC and VS have pistols that can do a good deal of damage.

I would say Vanu and NC have the best pistols for stealths because the MAG-Scatter has good damage and pretty good ROF and the Beamer has good damage and an anti-vehicle mode.

The other pistols can likely be loaded with AP ammo, Jinx. The only difference is that all energy weapons use the same ammo ("Energy Cells"), so it's not whether the gun can take AP ammo for the Vanu, but whether the gun has an AP mode. But, as I was saying, it's extremely likely that both other Faction-specific pistols have AP ammo for them.

Yes I do know they can have AP ammo. However, I doubt most stealths would be carrying much AP ammo if any at all.

Yeah... The TR pistol leaves much to be desired IMO. A pistol that can fire fairly fast but does medium-light damage? No thanks. Give me Beamer or MAG-Scatter anyday.

So watch it when this game finally comes out, the Repeater will have to be nerfed because they made it too |33+ because of my post.

Well don't underestimate the TR pistol.

I see the TR pistol in a Judge Dredd kinda way. Short rapid bursts, and that ain't all bad.
