A few minutes passed by and Hayate�s eyes caught sight of Wele � their target. �Right their Sir, ETA 1 Minute � Hot drop or land Sir?� �Land, over there between those trees, give this bird some cover, we�ll enter in on the east passage.� Hayate turned around and faced his squad. �Okay men. We�ve done things like this before so let�s do it right the first time, as for you new guys try to keep up, I�m sure you have some experience in base raids. Lets get out of here alive, roger?� �Sir, Yes Sir!� The squad replied back. �Okay. LenDog, we�re entering on the east passage � hack the IFF Personal Security Lock and let us in � the base is under the New Conglomerate so we have to be quick and smooth. When the doors open, Kate and Brooke are going to head in � you ladies have done this before � just secure that ground level of any stealth soldiers, sensors and turrets. At that point, Hersom and Bezerker will be behind you moving in with heavy support � if it gets hot, even warm down there, you fall back to them � they�ll handle any issue. Williams, Potvin, Joe, Doc, and LenDog will go with me after its clear and make a small outpost at ground level. Howell, you and Mosher stay here. Castus is going to drop Mosher off by a near-by hill side for some cover in case we need it � You stay in the Galaxy and survey the radar for incoming vehicles if we get any � you�re the defense we have to getting the galaxy out of here without it getting shot down, as you know the worst case scenario is if its too hot for you to be in the Galaxy to get us off � take the Marauder and we�ll pick you up when your clear. Everyone understand?� �Sir, YES SIR!� The squad screamed back to their leading commander. �Excellent, let�s move out!

At that point the galaxy�s engines curved down towards the ground and lowered down. The metal doors opened up and the soldiers poured out. Remaining in the Galaxy we�re Mosher and Howell with Castus. Hersom, one of the MAX Units, was the last to get off, jumping down off of the galaxy a couple of feet with a thump as he hit the ground. The galaxy doors shut again and it took off � to finish its orders. At that point, Hayate and Joe took front point and approached the east door as LenDog pulled out his REK Tool, a simple device that is made to help hack a IFF Lock on bases, and computers within the complex. LenDog pointed the REK at the IFF Lock and pulled the trigger. A red beam shot across and made contact with the panel. LenDog started typing away for a few seconds. �Almost� There!� At that point the metal door slid to the left, opening a hallway heading downstairs. Hayate lifted his right hand � holding his cycler, a powerful chain cannon-like gun that he took off of his last mission from a fallen Terran Republic comrade, and waved Kate and Brooke on. The two ladies headed into the complex, and walked down two steps before slowly disappearing into the air as their infiltration suits kicked in. About 12 seconds later, a faint whisper over the communicator entered the ears of the squad �Clear�� said Brooke. Hayate waved Bezerker and Hersom in, the two large MAX�s just squeezed in the doorway and made their way down the stairs to the basement level. Hayate and the rest of the squad followed. Meantime Castus was just hot-dropping Mosher off on a hillside with a beautiful vantage point of the base below. Half a dozen flowers with a large tree right next to her to hide in and with views from both the eastern entrance and the road entrance to the front of the base and not to mention the front and generator doors in view, this spot was more than perfect. Mosher ejected a good 70 feet above her vantage point, hitting in on about 45 feet and closing she shot off her kinetic dampeners and a green gas shot off towards the ground, exploding with a quite hiss and emitting the green gas. Mosher was coming in fast and when she was in the area of the kinetic dampener she came to a soft halt as her feet touched the ground � at that point the dampener was starting to dissipate into the air, she took the Bolt Driver, a very high powered sniper rifle with a bullet no shorter than a foot long, into her hands, laid down and scoped the scene out � getting a feel for her area.

Back inside of the complex Hayate waved Joe and Potvin on. They headed over to a door with a sign with stairs and an arrow pointing upwards. The door slid open and they moved in. The rest of the squad followed behind them. They made it to the lobby floor � it was quiet, too quite for Hayate�s likings. �Sir�� whispered Mosher over the communicator. �What is it Mosher?� Replied Hayate. �We might have some trouble � a sunderer is on its way � a good three or so kilometers away but none of the less it�s on route.� �Damn it� We are in the lobby Mosher � do you have a sight on the lobby door?� �Yes Sir� �Good, hold it. It�s the only entrance it has besides the eastern entrance that we took and they have no reason to go that way. When they open the doors they�ll have a surprise, help Bezerker and Hersom take out the enemies. We�re going to look for the Lieutenant and get out of here before shit hits the fan, understand?� �Yes Sir!�

�Bezerker, Hersom take point right there, lock into place and get ready, we have a sunderer coming in, Mosher is going to help you take them out when they open the door, cover this entrance and we�ll be back for you when we find the Lieutenant, Roger?� �Yes Sir� they replied as they walked to their desired locations near the front entrance. �LenDog, head over to that front terminal � get a count for who is in this building and get cameras up, stay out of the fight with Hersom and Bezerker, they�ll handle then on their own.� �Roger that!� Replied LenDog as he ran past Hersom and up two steps to a terminal with windows covered in blue glass with 2 computers on a desk on the left and right side. Behind those two stations was a security desk with cameras, power and NTU level for the base. He sat down and started away�

�The rest of us, let�s go.� Said Hayate. The squad headed over to the stairwell and worked their way up. A minute later, LenDog came over the communicator. �Sir� Second floor � there�s a mess hall with about 10 or so soldiers in there, they have weapons and are finishing up, some are waiting up, other than that the place is empty, I think that sunderer is the rest of the gang perhaps.� �Okay, good work Lendog, keep and update for me�� �Yes Sir�.

Hayate and his men reached the second floor of the small complex and noticed the mess hall door, hearing chatter and the clanging of trays being tossed. �What is that Sir?� Asked Doc, the squad medic. �Soldiers in the mess hall, get ready to take them out. Brooke, Kate your going in to confuse them, Joe, Potvin and Williams will move in with me and Doc right afterwards, then take them out.�

Kate and Brooke both activate their infiltration suits and fade into the air once more. The squad stayed 10 or so feet from the door, so they wouldn�t be seen. The door slid opening and the Terran soldiers all turned their heads to the door. �Gaunt?� Asked one of the soldiers, �That you?�. The ten Terran soldiers grabbed their guns and readied them. Brooke and Kate were now behind them and the door shut. �Maybe he walked by�� �Shh!� Snapped one of the soldiers. �I hear something��. At that point Kate and Brooke had their suppressors � small futuristic MP5K-SD Sub-Machine guns with silencers. �Now�� Whispered Brooke as Kate and Brooke both squeezed the trigger of their guns and at that instant their suits we�re deactivated. Bullets from the suppressors flew through the air, hitting two of the soldiers in the back of the heads as the skull cracked and the forehead split open with blood and brain remains shot across the room. A few of the men spun around as three others were shot, Kate shooting two in the chest. A wheezing noise left one of the soldiers as she finished the third with a shot to the neck and a splashing sound of blood oozed from the wound of the now dead soldier. All three bodies fell limp on the ground, one cracking the skull against the seat of the bench snapping the neck like a twig and a bone ripping through the skin on his neck, blood poured like a open jug of water on its side. All at the same instance Hayate with Joe, Williams and Potvin moved in and the door slid open, as Joe ran right around the corner a Terran soldier crouched and let loose a quick 6 shot burst, catching Joe in the neck and face, the helmet of Joe�s cracked and split like a cheap plastic bat hitting a fence post. He spun in a disgusting twist and landed on the ground, dead. �Jesus Christ!� yelled Potvin as he screamed and held his trigger chewing down three of his own men in various spots. The stray bullets that missed found other targets that Potvin�s eyes missed. He had hit Kate with at least a three or four of his own bullets. His eyes opened wide as he saw Kate shot back against the wall as the three men he killed fell to the ground. Blood was all over her and Potvin was in shock. One of the remaining soldiers took that as a chance and fired his own gun into Potvin�s chest before getting drilled in the back of the head from Brooke. The bullet pierced Potvins chest snapping a rib into pieces as he fell to his kness then slamming his face off the ground. One of the remaining soldiers took his final actions by taking William�s life by hitting him with over ten or so bullets, riddling him to death. Hayate took a few precision shots and finished the remaining soldiers by shattering their skulls with headshots.
