Lack of Planetside advertisement?

I'm not sure about all of you guys, but from what i see, PS is berley being adverstised. I've seen all of 2 magazine ads, out of about 50 magazines if read in the past month or so.


Is there a lack of advertisement in your guys' area, too?

I live in England and I've only seen a 1 page preview in Edge magazine. No ads, no posters no nothin. If they expect 1000s to play, how can they when no1 knows about it? Marketing is key, how else did the PS1 beat the N64?

I never even seen a TV add for this or magazine for that matter, only ads I see are net, it really is poorly advertised.

I've seen tons of ads in the gaming mags i read, at least 1 each mag. I usually read 3 or 4 gaming mags a month, and they all usually have 1.

havent seen any TV or radio comercials tho.

I saw the Game Informer ad back in January, which is why I came here. That's the only one I've seen yet though.

If they really want this game to make them some good money theygot toget the name "Planetsdie" out into the gaming world. I'm really worried this awesome game is going tocrash just because of a little thing such as advertising.

Who needs advertising when the game is doing gangbusters in the review circut (for the most part)? Lowest score I've seen for Planetside is Gamespot's 7.9.
