Judging by performance of each nation on the battlefield, how would you define their roles? e.g., TR believe in a lot of lead in as little time as possible, does this make them better suited for close in, toe to toe combat, or is it more complicated than this? Input by you more PS experienced people (beta players...) would help fuel the discussion

I had always viewed the Vanu as more of a "come at the fight in more than 1 angle" kinda fighters. I have found that most of their weapons work nearly perfectly with another in their arsenal, and that their weapons don't perform to well in a head on fight. Vanu, IMO, have more of a strategic potential, not close quarters. Are they proven to work better in close? Fill me in if there are statistics

Vanu's specialty at least used to be the mobility oftheir max's and their heavy tank. Terrans were kings of versatility because they shot enough lead at you you were going to die reardless. NC seem to have the edge in toe to toe combat.

NC's weapons (except the guass which isn't that great IMO) are extremely powerful but suck over ranges. VS weapons seem to be the opposite. I'm always raped buy some guy with a Lasher before I get within range w/ my Jackhammer. If they let me get within range, or aren't paying attention, then they're pretty much screwed. TR seems to stick to middle ground, as their weapons for the most part are very middle-esque.
