I was thinking (ooo scarry isn't it). I could possibly make a diagraming tool for commanders to diagram attack plans and stratagies using Flash. Of course this would take me a lot of time so what i want to know is. Would you use a tool like that?

Well...I would probably make it so that you could diagram plans on several scales. Like one scale with the entire world map on it for you to work with. Then another scale where it's just one continent. Then a final scale where you could place buildings in the diagram for very detalied base assault tactics. And once i had the engine created it would probably be very easy to add in floor plans for individual buildings even.

there should be a terminal in the base that can be hacked and gives commander full view of the bases map, then he uploads the map to his troopers visors so they can toggle between map/standard view and then the commander could set waypoints on the map, it'd tehn say "new objective/waypoint acquired" the soldier could then check the map and see where the commander wants him to go
Kinda like NS but the soldiers can see the map, not just the commander that'd be kewl IMO |
