Medkits

This might be a stupid question but what the hell, is there a limit to how many medkits a char can have on him? Is it like T2 where you can only have 1 at a time? Thanks

as many as you can take with you, theres no point on being a medic though cuz most people use advanced regeneration.

That's at least what I do because it makes me my own medic and then I'm also a basic engineer so I can repair my armor then take out my mini chaingun again and run down some more Vanu and repeat the process until the memory leak finishes me off and kicks me out of the game after 30 minutes of playing

You Open beta testers aren't missing much really, I can't wait for you guys to come because with you comes MEGA PATCH !!! which should save us all

i always have 2 med kits, adv regeneration and basic engineering to repair. It's so useful to be self-sufficient and be able to hook up ur squad with repairs.

A little side note ... there is a delay between med kits, so you cant smash the F# key while getting pummeled.

The amount of people that try to be self sufficient solo machines is astounding =) The game is built around team play =) Thats ok though, those solo machines usualy bite the dust within seconds of meeting an organized squad. Medics are quite usefull. Try defending a cap room without a medic when the numbers are against you =) Revive is very very usefull =)

Big,

How big are the patches usually? Size wise.

no.

I haven't seen a whole lot of use out of advanced medic, but advanced regeneration is pointless for those who use personal shields because you're out of energy most of the time.

I prefer to simply have a medic in the squad and use my precious implant for something else (Darklight,Audio, Targetting or Range)

how does the audio implant work? do you hear everything and get an arrow showing you where sound is? do you hear only the enemy? do you hear only cloaked enemy? how is the threat displayed?

So many questions........

When audio is on you simply see what enemy is where. It works same as the skeeter's radar skill. You'll see on your radar that (for example) there's a MAX about to come through the door and an infrantry behind him, etc. Stuff like that, not sure yet if it detects infil but i assume so as long as they don't have silent run on.

It can be very useful.

I do believe some implants are too trobelsome to use. I wish audio and targeting were both passive implants and didn't use energy.
