I have been gone for a week and a half, off in the middle of the pacific ocean on an island know as Kuau'i, part of the Hawaiian chain. This question was probably asked and answered, but i seach and didn't find any results. I was in exclusive beta, so do I get a beta cd shipped to me or do I just download the patches (which I am doing now with the launchpad, taking about 8 hours or so.)? Sorry for the inconvience and thanks!

Hehe, i read that as a stament:
"I am in exclusive beta, got the cd's and started patching whitch took 8 hours or so."

If you are in exclusive, u go ahead and download it, using the beta installer found on the planetside homepage.

And patching in 8 hours sound like getting the game, unless u are on a pretty slow connection... The full game dl is like 1.7 gb data.

Im running on DSL, and when I downloaded the game the first time it took 8 hours. I just dont know why I need to download it again...

well in the last week and half, there have been 4 or 5 patches, one of which made you download the maps again after revamping them
