I liked the old coffins WAY better. New backpacks look like a curled up baby MAX or some coloured skeeter droppings. They are major fulgy.

I like the tombstones idea. Maybe a tombstone with a rucksack at the base of it, gives a more somber idea. Doesn't necessarily have to be a cross, could make something nifty and empire specific.

At first I thought the coffins were to cut back on FPS wastage, but these backpacks look like they have quite a few polys. Still not as bad as leaving the bodies.

I would LOVE for them to leave the bodies because that would look awesome to have 100+ bodies lying on eachother, but its not gonna happen because you would get like -10FPS :-\.

coffins appearing out of nowhere seemed.. odd. Tombstones are soo daoc. and tombstones inside wouldnt exactly fit. Backpacks seem most logical to me, Make a pack with less polys thats smaller though
