Has anyone here survived the new bailout explosions? By that I mean the vehicle exploding when you jump out as the pilot. It seems to instantly blow with the normal explosion force and radius of a destroyed vehicle, in other words, instant and unavoidable death. Is it an altitude thing? I am rarely more than a 20 or 30 meters (or whatever measure is used) off the ground when I have to bail out.
Granted I have only done this 3 or 4 times since they changed it, but I have not survived once. Maybe I misread it, but I thought they said they were giving you less of a chance to survive last minute bailouts. Well, zero percent would be less I guess. At any rate, as a side effect it has made the air vehicles into manned high-yield missiles, which is not what they intended I am sure. |

Fun thing is, I pilot a mosquito, and well, I'm not very good at it , I do have my moments, but when it comes time for me to leave the cockpit, I usually find a nearby enemy vehicle, race straight towards it, and eject. Last time i did this, I was able to survive with minor damage. But if you're talking about when a vehicle is out of control and you have to bail, I wouldn't know, i always jump out before that...
