Agreed. FilePlanet is mean. However, they do let us download the beta for free, which is nice (even if we have to wait for 400 freakin minutes)

The line isn't quite the worst part, it's pretty bad but not as bad as how slow it downloads. I'm on 256k dsl and i'm d/l at 10 kb/s. Most things I download at 100 kb a sec (my dsl's tweaked like hell). I feel bad for the 56kers trying to d/l it. Wait, no i don't, they're just clogging the servers by taking 3 weeks to download it so no one else can. Though I do feel bad that the 56kers are waisting their cash on planetside, they're spending 15$ a month and because of their connection the battles have to be so small that they're like every other fps on the market. Man that would suck...

edit: I've been downloading for 10 hours and i'm at 19%. Is it me or is that pathetic?

Venoxile- I'd suggest biting the bullet subscribe to Fileplanet if not just of one month just so you can download. The Beta took me almost 3.5 hours to download and then another 1.5 hours after that in patches.

10-20$? It's only like 6$. They try to scam you into thinking you have to take the premium subscription but, you don't. There's a standard membership which is only like 6$.
