Terran Battalion was apart of the Amerish battles. I went to bed near 4AM that night... Zzzz...

I did get a good pick of Hamma and his crew as i ran for my life. They saved me. :mrgreen:

yeah the sad thing is, i went to bed at 3 that day. came back at 2 in the afternoon and all 5 continents were GONE!!!!! I couldnt believe it. i was actually on 3 of those continents helping. heck my squad captured like 5 bases on ishundar. and we were on searhus for a good 4 hours. and i got on amerish when we were capping the last 3 bases. its such a shame though, we lost all 5 of those locks in 12 hours... ah well biproduct of the lattice. it all depends what kind of player u are. u want mass battles and fun lattice works for u but if u want to hold a base for over 12 hours, lattice defintely screws that idea. but hey i'd like both. overall lattice is good idea to kick a dead horse.

Just so the NC and Vanu know there is a site EXACTLY the same concept as AGO is for the TR. http://www.covertassault.com There is a commander chat and general chat areas. The commander chat area is for squad/outfit leaders to coordinate a massive attack with other outfits.

AGO is a VERY important role in how TR work so well together. it has nothing to do with physics or balence issues.

So I encourge outfit/squad leaders to sign up and get their troops to sign up to have the same advantage the TR have.

Was on last night experimenting with two new characters. Playing Vanu. A lot still escapes me but I have to say there were some BIG battles and they lasted a while, see-sawing back and forth for control.
I was playing both a GAL pilot for a pickup squad and later an AV MAX. What a kick this game is. Hot dropping a squad on a tower to assault and take it over to lumbering through hallways getting JACKED up by Terrans tossing grenades. By the time I logged off Terrans had taken most of what the Vanu had started to claim on whatever world I was on.
I sure hope they keep it interesting and something work for in the game.
I also don't see much difference in the differnt weapons and systems available to each race. Have to admit I hate the LOKs I get as a GAL driver, the Terran missiles have, but I'm sure the Vanu have something equivelant.

All I have to say is "Good Job Terrans" We did our best to take what we could but in the end you all pushed us from the main base (Forget the name, could have been Atur) after a good hour of fighting. I had a blast. I even recalled to Sanctuary to pick up a replacement GAL to transport my crew out. Needless to say that was no exp for the 15 min it took to get back.

How exactly does the lattice screw holding bases? All the lattice does is prevent people from just hacking any base any time.

well, played for about 90 minutes tonight.

Call it whining, bitching, crying...whatever.

I have lived through many an evolution thru several games. There is an imbalance in this game. TR has close quarter weaponry superiority. Sure the NC has better vehicles...but once in a base...does that matter?

Good thing the first month is free.

Unlike most games.. all that stuff is tracked with PS.. its always being monitored for severe inbalances.

If you are referring to the weapons imbalance I claim....give it 2 weeks and watch more people flock to the TR side. Also...if TR begins to lock up continents...then what? That is when you will see a dramatic shift of people.

Believe me, I really want this game to be something I enjoy playing. Had I chosen the TR side to begin with, maybe I wouldn't be so pessemistic. But I ask you this...

How many people tried all 3 sides during the beta and chose TR because of the weps? Do you notice there is a large contingent of beta testers on TR? Why? Don't give me the "we liked the storyline" crap

Hamma....you and Mars both know I am a fair person. I just have to wonder that if in the first 24 hours TR is so effective...can it simply be because you guys have a website to coordinate attacks? And if you say that is the reason, you have just sealed the games fate, as who would be willing to join the other factions and try to wrestle continents from you?

And all while paying $12.99.....

im all for TR and i do love the weapons and all yada yada but dont say VS and NC weps are that good ive been killed many a time by a Jackhammer or a Lancer or a Lasher even with my cycler
