Nahh...

I'd rather drop the travel mode, since it's the slots and the added inventory space that I'm really after.

SCUBA armor.

Same vehicle restirctions & speed as reinforced, same inventory and weapon slots as agile...

And never runs out of air, nor is slowed down in water. Perhaps even grants the user the long lost, double secret, super-duper ability to.... swim.

^I agree with the scuba thing. Some sort of armor or cert or something that would let you at the very least walk longer underwater would be very fun.

If that PS navy patch/expansion rumor ever comes into existance, I'd bet something like the scuba armor would be implemented.

Eng and Medic armor


I think they should but in Eng and Medic Armor. Maybe with an extra pistol slot to carry the special tools? The armor would have Eng or Medic textures so you can tell who they are on the battle field. You would get the special armor when you buy the eng or medic certs. I think it would be very helpful in being able to tell who is a medic or end and such on the field. It would still have 150 armor same as reinforced just having the medic or eng textures on the armor would help significantly

The backpack armor: basically standard armor (100pts.) with 1 rifle and 2 pistol slots and an inventory double the size of reinforced. Basically its a trunk you can leave indoors that cant be blown up. You could fill it with sniper rounds, decimators, or even quick medkits. I guess it would be balanced because the guy would have realy weak armor to fight, but can be more flexible and helpful to the team. Reaver and misquito pilots would love it too. Get the backpack loaded with ammo, drop it off somwhere, and hop in the reaver for an even faster way to rearm yourself anywhere you want. Hopefully you could lock it somehow like the trunk in a MAX.

Solid idea. Do MAXes have trunks? I thought that was removed.

Then that is reinforcing the Idea of Classes, somthing PS does not need, people starting to classify larg groups of people into a few classes...

scuba gear is a great idea....
I dont see how they cant have this armor once they bring in the navy into the game, otherwise bailing out of a boat will be suicide. It could also work as an implant.

oh, and i bet max's dont have trunks anymore... i never use maxes nor have i used a trunk of one, that was just based off something i heard a while ago i guess.
